Qingdao Samuels Industrial & Commercial Co. Ltd. was founded in 2000 with a registered capital of 10.7 million RMB. The company is located in Laoshan District, Qingdao, which is of a prosperous economy, beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. This is private hi-tech company majoring modern transgenic biotechnology and marine biotechnology and products.

With the support from Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ocean University of China，Institute of Oceanology Chinese Academy of Sciences, The First Institute of Oceanography State Oceanic Administration PRC, and Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, SAMUELS endeavors to research and develop modern bio-technology. SAMUELS also maintains a fine, long-term partnership with many foreign universities and institutions in terms of product, study and research.

The Company has a R&D facility covering an area of more than 1500 mu and construction area of 8000 square meters for transgenic animal mammary bioreactor, a Marin Aquaculture R&D Demonstrating Base of 67 mu construction area of 10000 square meters. Staffs of the company are totally 50, among them R&D people 18, one academician from Chinese Academy of Engineering, three Doctors and eight researchers.

Since the foundation of the Company, she is committed to transgenic medicine, energy saving and environment protection products, multi-purpose type of marine micro algal health products development and industrialization.

● Gene Medicine
The Company is committed to transgenic biopharmaceutical – using Laoshan dairy goat mammary gland bioreactor technology in pharmaceutical and special protein research and development. The project at the development of maary gland bioreactor stage has reached the international advanced level.

The company has a technical R & D center and a transgenic goat breeding base, research and development personnel 12 people, one of them is academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 16 researchers and 3 doctors.

● Energy saving and environmental protection
Working with Aquaneering in the United States, Samuels and Aqauneering have jointly developed closed water recirculation system used in water resources treatment, aquaculture farming and research fields.

The company has an area of 67 acres, 12 high-standard plants breeding, researching and development of marine biotechnology and aquaculture farming for demonstration.
